WORKING WITH TALENT FROM PUDDLETOWN!!!

Back in December (I know it has been awhile), I had made a HUGE contact with Jason Jeffords owner and agent for Puddletown Talent. Story goes… he enjoyed the work I was doing for WMTG and looked me up of Facebook. I can’t thank him enough for the work and talent he has sent my way!!!

Last week I had the pleasure of shooting one of my favorite subjects to date. This young girl has the “it” factor. She takes direction so well and just knows how to smile for the camera.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM E’s PHOTO SHOOT:
Thank you E!

I do not want to look past all the other great talent that I’ve had the pleasure of shooting since the beginning of the year, so I leave you with more images...

HIGHTLIGHTS FROM CHILDREN’S TALENT PHOOT SHOOTS:
*A special thanks to my dad for he has made a wonderful assistant to me these last three months. You’ve been a huge help and support to images by jayme, THANK YOU!!!

LIVING THE LIFE

No more 9 to 5 living for the weekends. I work 24/7 and LOVE it! I'm living my dream and today was the first step in updating my once in hibernation portfolio (I felt so alive).

Amanda (my boss and friend from Banner) and I have been planning her little sister's SR portrait shoot for about two months now. Delayed due to weather, we finally got our chance to shoot and what a perfect day it was.

MEET SPENCER

These next couple of images were shot down in the Pearl District, where we did your semi traditional "three outfit" session.

I wanted to share at least one image of Spencer smiling, cause she is so stinkin' cute. There are just too many to choose from and I usually tend to lean towards the moodier ones (I don't know why).

THE PITTOCK MANSION
This is where we all let loose. From day one Spencer wanted something different for her shoot and different is what we gave her...

MEET THE CREW

To pull off an amazing shoot, I called in the troops.

My dear friend Rafael was my assistant for the day. I'm used to shooting a lot on my own so it is a treat to have an assistant. Raf usually thinks of the not so ordinary things to do... my favorite image of the day was inspired by Mr. Contreras and we executed it perfectly. Yes folks, that is a name plate on his belt and no, the lady wearing the gaudy white dress behind him was not with us.

Amanda (left) covered hair, make-up and wardrobe. Spencer (right) was our talent willing to do anything we asked of her.

THANK YOU SPENCER!!!

You were great to work with and did whatever I asked of you with complete faith and trust in me as your photographer. Just to name a few... you squeezed yourself into a circular statue, bared your feet in freezing cold water, got into a "summer" dress (when we all know Oregon's fall sun is not warm) and didn't complain once of the cold, walked into a tall grassy field bare foot, stood in high heels on a dock with wide slats, sat in wet grass, climbed into a tree and pulled off running like someone was chasing you. Thank you Spencer!!!
